pretty good device let down by very buggy software

pretty good device let down by very buggy software
The hardware is pretty good. Well build and rugged. The best part is the telemetry data that it collects when you are in an "activity" (see attached pic)The screen is very easy to read at any light condition. The GPS connects very fast, unless the location it was turned off is very far away from the location it was then turned on at. In this case, you might need a few minutes until it established a satellite GPS connection. This is how GPS devices work, so nothing out of the ordinary, just be patient in this case.Having a barometric pressure sensor is a great addition for me, as I use this for paragliding to get an accurate reading on my altitude and sync rates. The problem is with the software. One issue that ruins the whole experience is the "lock screen" feature. I find that most times, I'll lock the screen but then wont be able to unlock it. The button to unlock does not register presses (the rest of the UI works fine). It's a really annoying bug that has been around since the unit was released and still hasn't gotten fixed after several firmware updates.I'm surpised that this bug is still unfixed as it it a "in your face" issue and very easily reproducable.
